Employment opportunities & vacancies become available for teachers & support staff from time to time at Caledonia Campus (both Millden, Balmedie, Aberdeenshire & Alloa, Clackmannanshire) and these can be seen on the Millden TES, Ochil TES or our Opportunities pages which display jobs that we are recruiting for.
Teaching staff are hired for their teaching ability and providing they are willing to respect and work within the school ethos they do not need to come from any particular religious background. The following years are taught at Caledonia Campus: Primary 3 – 7 and Secondary 1 – 6 (Year 3 – 13).
Our mantra is “Learning for Life” and, as well as offering excellent learning opportunities for our students, at Caledonia we are passionate about providing our staff with an outstanding level of CPD. All our teaching staff are (or are in the process of becoming) fully GTCS registered and will have many opportunities for professional development, going well beyond meeting the requirements of Professional Update. CPD is offered in-house; though our UK and Global networks; through external agencies, such as SCIS, Capita, etc; and from a range of examination boards, including SQA, AQA and EDEXCEL.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All posts in our schools are subject to an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) Disclosure.
We strive to create a learning environment that we can be proud of. So to make this happen, we need brilliant people who inspire and deliver results. Employment at Caledonia Campus is in accordance with SNCT scales along and the Pension Scheme is given as standard to all teachers in Scotland.
