Many exciting activities were enjoyed by the whole school at Ochil, as can be seen from the numerous photographs. Later there was an assembly, along with musical interludes from the school band and some of the staff.
Cooking: Two Year 11-13 girls from each House took part in a cooking competition. They had to make a gourmet dish with a strict budget of £25. They were judged on flavour, creativity, presentation, skills range, cleanliness/personal hygiene, preparation and team work. The winning House was Corum.
Drama: Students from each House took part in a themed drama activity. They were judged on originality, the matching of theme to genre and the overall coherence of the performance. The winning House was Corum.
Music: A selection of girls from each House took part. The teams were judged on presentation, creativity and timing. The winning House was Elistoun.
Sport: Ten students from each House had games of badminton and volleyball. The winning House was Elistoun.
Art: This activity’s theme was Winter. The students had to produce a model, mostly using Papier Mache. Five students from each House participated. The winning House was Corum.
Overall, Corum House came top and the tally of points for all House Activities this session is therefore:
