Representatives from the Guide Dogs Association visited Caledonia Campus, Ochil Centre, on Tuesday, 27th February 2018 and provided our students with a very interesting and detailed presentation on the activities of Guide Dogs and what it takes to train a Guide Dog. Our Senior School assembly hung on their every word and really appreciated the presentation. They were accompanied by two Labrador Retrievers – Kinter and Issac, and a German Shepherd – Odell.

Caledonia Campus presented the Guide Dogs Association with a cheque for £157.10 – monies raised from the Tenner Challenge last year and the cheque was presented by year 12 students, Angharad Skirton, Ashley Fielder, Gaius Mutton and Shaniece Harmer. We were very fortunate that Ian and Alan from the Guide Dogs Association then visited the Primary School and provided a similar presentation to the Primary students.
